Humanity through the first man Adam chose by his own right and volition to depart from communion and fellowship of a loving holy god which was the purpose he was created, and that choice led to a separation between man and God, that separation is referred to as the man’s inherent sin. The inherent sinful nature of man is in enmity with god continually, and as such the object of gods wrath, the wickedness of man is continually evil and a holy god who is just, demands that justice must be done, his anger and wrath is therefore justified, hence sin must be punished for god to be just, and that judgement is inevitable to man and humanity, and because man’s race is wholly incapable of doing anything about the situation, he perpetually reproduced in his fallen image.

But God, became flesh in Jesus, exchanged his righteous, holy nature for man’s inherent sinful nature, and paid for the deserved judgement so that we can stand before a just god completely clean and pure, new creation with the old sinful nature gone forever at the foot of the cross. God provided the perfect sacrifice for our sin, carrying the judgement of his wrath on us to himself on the cross, not because we deserve it or earned it, but because of his love and mercy and grace. Only those whose nature have been changed by faith in Christ, can escape the wrath of god and live in the light of his love and mercy returning back to Gods image.

The diverse and creative process of communicating this great Goodnews of love, mercy, grace, through inputted faith effectively is what we referred to as evangelism, and it is, gods will for everyone, a command to all Christians, it is vicariously and effectively active because it is the power of god unto salvation to everyone that believes. It is God reconciling humanity to himself through the proclamation of Christ as saviour and lord to everyone that believes.
